Craigmillar Boxing Club lightweight Jason Easton will face Ayrshire's Jamie Kerr in the semi-final of the Scottish senior amateur boxing championships at Coatbridge on Friday night.

30/6/2009Saturday Fun Day at the Venchie
Get along to the Venchie Project this weekend, when in conjunction with other community groups, the Venchie is holding a Fun Day.
The event will be held on Saturday 4th July from 12-00-4.00pm, and will feature lots of fun things to do, including bungee run, bouncy castle, pony rides, face painting and more.
The fun day is taking place at the Venchie Children & Young People's Project and the surrounding area. The day will be officially opened by Billy McIlhaney (Jimmy Fae River City), along with and children from the Venchie.
Amongst the other activities on the day will be live music, portrait drawing, cafe, tombola, stalls, massage, drama, beat the goalie, Harley Davidson bikers and birds of prey.
