Pensioner hurt in street attack by thief

Police are hunting a thief who attacked and stole the bag of a pensioner in the Bingham to Craigmillar tunnel.

The 62-year-old woman was walking in the Craigmillar area when a youth tried to snatch her bag.

The woman hurt her shoulder struggling with her attacker, before he made off with her bag, mobile phone, cards and cash.

She needed hospital treatment following the attackat around 8am on Friday morning.

We thought when the area was desecrated and erased, all these slums fazed every manner of muggings and crime accompanied these dratted rats who deserted the sinking ship. Obviously not, a lot stayed behind! Well lets hope mi'lud at yon Sheriiiff Court wont be too much of a guid sport and thinks twice about being over nice and he jails the lout!
