  • The Thistle Foundation will be able to run a new wellbeing project in Craigmillar

A new mental health project is to be launched in Craigmillar after the Thistle Foundation charity received new funding from the Scottish Government.

The Thistle Foundation, which is based in Midlothian, will be able to run the new wellbeing projects in areas such as Niddrie and Craigmillar. The main aim of the scheme is to improve people's mental health through increased physical exercise and improved diet.

People identified as isolated and those with complex needs will be the subject of help.
