Join Vertex for a special one-off gig at the Gaff

Vertex, band of local legendary guitarist, John Connor will play a unique one-off, don't-you-dare-miss-it gig at The Gaff Theatre, Artspace on Saturday 6th February 2010.

This is the man who sold his speakers to David Bowie! The man who has rocked with Terry Slesser of The Temptations, Thin Lizzy and Captain Beefheart! Who even played an invitation-only gig for Hollywood superstar Tom Hanks!

Do you REALLY want to miss this gig??? Of course you don't!!!

For this special one-off performance, John will lead his current six-piece band in a celebration of rock standards, with covers of legendary tracks ranging from Prince to The Eagles.

Doors open at 7:30pm - plus to make the gig accessible to everyone, we're starting 2010 off with a bang, with tickets at a one-off knock-down, never-to-happen-again price of only £2.50.

I'm jist so lookin for'ard to joining this, the rarest of gig. I'll nae miss it, 'tis the cheapest in town, all found, all in, all round, (& ain't unknown on certain days I plays a few mean chords maself.) Yet if one met Johnni Ranting Stanton, and he's tae be found there invading, making ma hair stand on end jist aching fir a dig, hinging aroond, bringing me doon @ Artspace. God forbid - e'en singing weil we'll be trading laden words and noo mistake. I'll win for 'tis elementary livin near ma dear Craigmillians - a case of separating the whey [he] fae the curds [moi]. Chow fir now J(Ranting)S AM(Caustic)C ( wi the bricht red hair!)
