Get out in the great outdoors this weekend at Duddingston Loch

The Scottish Wildlife Trust are holding a free open day at Bawsinch and Duddingston Wildlife Reserve on Sunday October 23 from 11 am until 4pm.

Visitors will be able to observe some of the birds of Duddingston Loch as well as enjoy the beautiful autumn colours of the surrounding woodland.

Throughout the day there will be guided walks giving an insight into the wildlife and the habitats in which they live including the woods, scrub land, marsh and ponds.

Admission is free and visitors can enter from the bend on Duddingston Road West. Sturdy footwear is recommended.
