Craigmillar's Jason Easton fights through to Scottish final

  • Jason Easton from Craigmillar has won through to the Scottish light-welterweight final with a win over Jamie Kerr of Irvine
Craigmillar Boxing Club's Jason Easton fought his way to the Scottish light-welterweight final with a brilliant display against Irvine's Jamie Kerr at Coatbridge.

The 18 year-old Craigmillar fighter took the bout to his vastly more experienced opponent, regularly putting the Ayrshire man on his heels with jabs and uppercuts, and winning the bout 14-11.

Jason will now face Darren McGinn from Cleland for the Scottish title, on Saturday 27th March at Coatbridge Sports Centre.
