progress is not new to craigmillar but i think the new school campus should be named francismill primary to keep the name of both the former schools alive

it was with complete surprise that i saw st francis was demolished. ive lived in edinburgh all my life ( but i must be getting old) i didnt realise my old school was torn down. i was on a sentimental walk to see how greendykes was (omg what a disaster) my teacher was Mr Dykes and he introduced me to the football team along with great players such as mickey mcmanus, jimmy caukwell, george little, billy igoe, john moran they were great times and playing against graigmillar omg it was exciting.But about st francis.... it was such a wonderfull time with miss curran,mr davidson, and mrs cassidy (she was a terror)... i am so sad that my /our history has turned into rubble.. but life goes on and i hope the new school gets the teachers it deserves.
