Norrie raises over £1,000 for diabetes in first marathon!

Well done to local dad Norrie Philp who has completed his first ever marathon and raised over £1,000 for Diabetes UK! The 39-year-old had always wanted to run a marathon and successfully finished the Edinburgh Half Marathon despite living with type 1 diabetes. Norrie, who lives just outside Craigmillar and went to Castlebrae High, finished the race in two hours, eleven minutes and enjoyed the experience so much, he has already signed up for next year's half marathon.…
